Privacy Policy

Last updated October 14, 2026

Draft — to be reviewed by a lawyer before launch. This page is not final and may change before ScheduleSolve launches.

This Privacy Policy explains how Furvur Inc. ("Furvur", "we", "us"), a Canadian corporation, collects, uses and protects personal information in ScheduleSolve (schedulesolve.com and its staff app). We follow Canada's Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) and, where they apply, provincial laws such as Québec's Law 25.

1. Two roles

  • For your staff's information, the business that uses ScheduleSolve (our customer, usually the employer) decides what is collected and why. We process it for the customer, to provide the Service. Staff with questions about their information should first contact their employer.
  • For account holders and visitors to our website, we decide how information is used, and this policy applies to us directly.

2. What we collect

InformationExamplesWhy
Account detailsName, work email, the name of the businessTo create the account, sign you in and contact you about it
Staff detailsName, email or mobile number, job title, employee ID, areas they work, usual days, maximum hoursTo make schedules, tell staff about shifts and export timesheets
Schedules and requestsShifts, time off and its type (for example Sick), notes, open shift pick-upsTo run the schedule
HistoryWho changed what, and whenSo customers can see changes; for security
Billing detailsBilling address, tax ID, invoicesTo charge for the Service and add the right tax. Card numbers go straight to Stripe; we never see them.
Technical informationIP address, browser, pages visited, error logsTo keep the Service secure and working

We use your location (from your IP address or browser language) only to show prices in the right currency. We keep the country, not your location.

A type of time off such as "Sick" can tell something about a person's health. In ScheduleSolve it is shown to managers. We ask customers not to record medical details in notes.

3. Cookies

We use one cookie to keep you signed in. We do not use advertising cookies or tracking for advertising.

4. How we use information

We use personal information only to provide, secure, support and improve the Service, to bill for it, to meet legal duties and to tell account holders about the Service. We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it for advertising. We do not use your data to train AI models.

5. Who we share it with

  • Service providers who run parts of the Service for us, such as email delivery and payments. They are listed on our Sub-processors page, and they may use the information only to do that work.
  • Inside a customer's account: managers see the information of the people they manage; staff see their own shifts and the names of people who work with them.
  • When the law requires it, or to protect people's safety or our rights.
  • If our business is sold, to the buyer, under the same protections.

6. Where information is stored

Personal information is processed in Finland (EU), where the Service and its database are hosted, and by the sub-processors we list, some of them in the United States. Information outside your country can be accessed under the laws of the country where it is. Our sub-processor list shows where each one operates.

Draft: confirm cross-border transfer wording (PIPEDA, Québec Law 25 transfer assessment)

7. How long we keep it

  • While an account is active, we keep its information so the Service works.
  • After a plan ends, the account is read-only for 90 days, then we delete its data.
  • A customer can anonymize a person at any time. This removes their name, email, mobile number and employee ID for good.
  • We keep invoices and tax records as long as the law requires.

8. How we protect it

We protect information with safeguards that match how sensitive it is: encrypted connections, sign-in without passwords, separation of each customer's data, access by role, and a history of changes. No system is perfectly secure. If a breach creates a real risk of significant harm, we will tell the affected customers, and the Privacy Commissioner of Canada, as the law requires.

9. Your rights

You may ask to see the personal information we hold about you, to correct it, or to withdraw your consent (which may mean we can no longer provide the Service). If you are a staff member, your employer controls your information in ScheduleSolve, so contact them first; we will help them answer you. We reply to requests within 30 days.

10. Customers in the United States

For customers in the United States, we act as a service provider to the business that uses ScheduleSolve. We process staff information only to provide the Service under our agreement with that business. We do not sell or share personal information as US state privacy laws define those terms, and we help customers answer requests from their staff. Residents of some states, such as California, may have additional rights to know, correct and delete their information; send requests to the address below.

11. Children

ScheduleSolve is for businesses. Account owners must be adults. Some staff may be under 18 where their employer is allowed to employ them; the employer is responsible for any consent the law requires.

12. Changes to this policy

We will post changes here and change the date at the top. For important changes, we will also email account owners.

13. Contact and complaints

Our Privacy Officer can be reached at [email protected]. If you are not satisfied with our answer, you can contact the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.
