Home: what needs you
The cards on Home, and what each button does.
Home is the first page you see. It lists only what needs a person to decide. When the list is empty, there is nothing to do.
The cards
| Card | What you can do |
|---|---|
| Post the schedule | Press Review and post. The schedule opens with the post box. See Post the schedule. |
| Open shifts | The open shifts of one schedule on one card, a row per day. Offer them all at once, assign one, or show all. See Open shifts. |
| Open shift (its own card) | A shift that starts within 48 hours, or one people picked up. Give it to someone, offer it, or assign it. |
| Can't come | Someone is sick or away. Pick one of the fixes, fewest changes first. See When someone can't come. |
| Time off request | The card says what approving does, for example "If approved: Kitchen has 2 (at least 3) on Tue Oct 20". Approve, or Decline with an optional reason. |
| Swap | Two people agreed to swap. Approve, or Decline with a reason. See Swaps and give-aways. |
| Suggested change | After something changes, ScheduleSolve may suggest a fix. It shows each person and shift it changes. Approve or Dismiss. |
| Not told yet | You changed a posted schedule. Press Tell them to send the changes. |
Urgent cards, for shifts within the next 48 hours, show first.
