Every period

Post the schedule and tell your team

Post a period, and how ScheduleSolve tells only the people affected.

A draft is private to managers. When you post it, your staff see it and are told.

Post a schedule

On Home, the card for a drafted schedule has Review and post: it opens the schedule with the post box. Or:

  1. Open Schedule and check the period.
  2. Press Post schedule.
  3. In the box, keep Offer the open shifts ticked to offer each gap to the people who can work it.
  4. Confirm.

If some areas are below their minimum, ScheduleSolve asks once more before it posts. You can still post. Your answer is kept in History.

Who is told

  • The first post: everyone with shifts in the period gets an email with their shifts. The shifts also show in the staff app.
  • A later change: only the people whose shifts changed are told, with what changed.
  • People without an email or login cannot be told. Add their email on the People page.

Changes after you post

You can still change a posted schedule. ScheduleSolve does not send each small edit at once. Home and the schedule show how many people have changes they were not told about. Press Tell them when you are done.

Take a post back

Use Make it a draft again to hide a posted schedule from staff while you work on it.

When schedules post

In Settings, then Schedule, set how many days before a period starts you post it. Many teams post about 4 weeks ahead.
