Teams

A team is a group of people with its own schedule, for example Front of house and Kitchen, or Day unit and Night unit. You set your teams during setup, or later in Settings, then Teams. Teams share pay periods.

An area can belong to one team or be shared by every team. ScheduleSolve counts a shared area's needs once, across teams.

Use the team switcher at the top of the app to see one team or all teams.

Limit a manager to their teams

1. Open People and the manager's page.
2. Give them Can manage schedules access.
3. Under Teams this manager sees, tick their teams. Tick none to let them see every team.

A team manager sees and changes only the people in their teams, and those teams' schedules, requests and timesheets. Settings for the whole business, Billing and History are hidden from them, and the rules are read-only.

Only the owner and admins can change who sees which teams. Each change is kept in History.
